Check how your automations are doing

Who this is for: anyone who wants to know, in a glance, whether the company’s workflows are running well.

Before you start: nothing. Everyone who can see workflows can open the Dashboard. What it shows depends on your role (see What each role sees).

The Dashboard is the first page after you sign in. It answers one question: is everything OK, and if not, what needs you? You can open it at any time with Dashboard in the top bar.

The page refreshes by itself every 30 seconds while the browser tab is open. The line under the title says when the numbers were updated, for example “Updated 10:43”.

  1. Choose a period at the top right: Today, 7 days or 30 days. The default is 7 days. The period stays in the page address, so a bookmark or a shared link opens the same view.

  2. Read the banner at the top:

    • A green banner, Everything is running normally, means nothing waits for a person. One sentence says what was checked, for example that every active workflow succeeded on its last run and every connection is signed in.
    • An amber banner, for example 3 things need you, names what needs attention and offers up to three buttons, the most important first. Select a button to go to the page where you fix it.
  3. Read the four numbers under the banner. Each one opens a page with the details:

    Number What it shows Opens
    Runs Production runs in the period, and the change against the period before it Runs, from the start of the period
    Succeeded The share of finished runs that succeeded, with one decimal. It reads 100% only when no run failed. Runs, succeeded only
    Failed runs Failed runs and runs that stopped after their last retry. The line below says how many still need a look. Runs, failed only
    Typical run time The median time a run took Usage

    When a period has no runs yet, a number reads “No runs yet” instead of 0%.

  4. Look at Runs per day, last 14 days. Each bar is the runs that succeeded that day, and today is the darkest bar. A red number above a bar is how many runs failed that day. Hover over a bar to see both counts. The chart always shows 14 days, whatever period you chose.

  5. Check Systems: each connection’s state (Connected, Slow or Sign in again), when your webhooks last received a call, and how much of your plan’s monthly runs you have used. Select a row to open its page.

  6. Check Workflow health. It lists active and paused workflows, the failing ones first. For each you see its status, its last 20 runs as small blocks (oldest on the left, red for a failure) and the share of runs that succeeded in the last 7 days. Select a row to open the workflow.

  7. Read Recent changes: the last five changes in your company, such as a workflow that was approved or paused, and who made them. Select Audit log for the full history.

Test runs and dry runs are never counted. Days follow the time zone of your browser.

A failed run needs a look until someone retries or replays it, or until a later run of the same workflow succeeds. The banner lists these items:

  • a workflow version that passed its tests and waits for your approval, when you may approve it;
  • an open incident;
  • a run from the last 24 hours that failed and still needs a look;
  • a connection whose sign-in stopped working;
  • a secret someone asked for that has no value yet.

The bell in the top bar shows how many of these items wait for a person. There is no number when nothing does. Select the bell to open Activity in the side panel. It groups the same items under Waiting for you (approvals), Open incidents and Recent failures (failed runs, connections to sign in to again, and secrets an AI assistant asked for). Select an item to go to the page where you deal with it. When nothing needs you, it says “Nothing needs you right now.” Activity refreshes with the Dashboard, every 30 seconds.

On the Dashboard, the panel’s Details tab shows your plan, the runs used this month and when the count resets, with Open usage. You see it when you may view usage.

On a wide screen the panel sits beside the page and stays open or closed as you left it. On a narrower screen it slides over the page: press Esc or select outside it to close it.

Each part of the Dashboard needs a permission. A part you can’t see is left out, not shown empty.

Part Needs
The numbers, the chart and Workflow health View runs (view_runs)
Systems: connections and webhooks View workflows (view_workflow)
Systems: plan usage View usage (view_usage)
Recent changes View the audit log (view_audit_log)

If an admin removes a permission while the page is open, that part disappears at the next refresh, with a short note. If your role can see none of the parts, the page says so.

You can pin up to 10 workflows. They show in the sidebar under Pinned workflows while you are on the Dashboard. A red ! next to a pinned workflow means its last run failed. Pins are yours alone: other people don’t see them.

  1. Open the workflow from Build > Workflows.
  2. Select Pin next to the workflow’s other buttons.
  3. To remove it, open the workflow again and select Unpin.

When a workflow is archived, it drops off your pinned list.

Until your company has a workflow that runs, the Dashboard shows Nothing is running yet with two ways to start: Create your first workflow, or Connect an AI agent and build one together.
